Using Tracking Data to Inform Health Impact Assessment Webinar
Thursday, February 22, 2:00 - 3:00 PM EST

This webinar will feature the stories of three health impact assessments (HIAs) that used data from CDC’s Environmental Public Health Tracking portals to inform the process.

Additionally, presenters will discuss the HIA tracking toolkit developed to enable environmental health practitioners to more fully use tracking data in their HIA work. Tune in to hear about the tracking toolkit and other resources that are available to support important HIA work.

NACCHO Webinar:  Specialized Food Processes - Reduced Oxygen Packaging

NACCHO is pleased to host an online sharing session on Specialized Food Processes – Reduced Oxygen Packaging (ROP). Reduced Oxygen Packaging such as vacuum packaging, cook-chill and sous vide processes are considered specialized processes under the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Model Food Code. The use of ROP has become increasingly popular in restaurants across the nation. Building a positive relationship between industry members and regulators is an important component in making sure ROP is implemented correctly for consumer food safety.

National Lead and Healthy Housing Conference

2018 Environmental Public Health Tracking Virtual Conference
May 2 - 3, 2018
NEHA is partnering with the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors on the 2018 Environmental Public Health Tracking Virtual Conference taking place May 2–3. The virtual conference will include topics such as asthma, air quality, heart disease, health equity and the environment, and others.  Cost of attendance is free.  More information here.
